Iain Thomson is an Associate Professor of Philosophy
and Director of Graduate Studies in Philosophy at
the University of New Mexico.
Iain Thomson specializes in 19th-20th century continental philosophy, especially Heidegger, and is the author of more than two dozen articles and book chapters, as well as Heidegger on Ontotheology: Technology and the Politics of Education (Cambridge UP, 2005). He recently finished a second book, Heidegger, Art, and Postmodernity, and is currently working on two others: Heidegger: A Philosophical Biography; and Thinking Death after Heidegger: Many of his publications are available on his web site.
