Cyndimae, epilepsy and cannabis

Susan Meehan moved to Maine from Connecticut last fall to try to save Cyndimae, her 11 yr. old daughter's life. Cyndimae has a rare form of epilepsy which can't be controlled by medication. Until she began taking cannabis, Cyndimae was having as many as 4 'grand mal' seizures and thousands of smaller ones every day.

When she first tried marijuana she went seizure free for three months. But when it ran out, the seizures returned with a vengeance. That's when her neurologists recommended that they move to Maine, where Cyndimae could be treated legally with cannabis. Now, Cyndimae is thriving. She has gained weight, plays and doesn't have to use a wheelchair. Her mom said the progress from medical marijuana has been nothing short of a miracle.#Cannabis @WeedPeopleMovie
