Lauryn, a story of nausea cured by cannabis

Lauryn

In June 2013, Lauryn began waking up nauseated and vomiting. Diagnoses ran the gamut from gallbladder to thyroid problems. Medication didn’t help. For months she subsisted on Ensure drinks and saltine crackers. She made three trips to the emergency room in one week because of the pain. The ER doctors said nothing was wrong with her & suspected she was there for pain meds. Faced with exploratory surgery or trying medical marijuana, she opted for cannabis. It brought the relief nearly a dozen prescriptions drugs had failed to deliver. “On my way home that day I cried because my stomach stopped spasming,” she recalls. “It was the first time I got relief besides having morphine or whatever the emergency room had given me.”

Now at considerable personal cost, Lauryn is on a mission to remove the stigma from cannabis. JOIN US in showing your support for Lauryn and the countless others who walk beside her. #Cannabis #medicalmarijuana
