For the past 9 months, 21 yr. old Itamar Shapira and his father have been writing Alabama state lawmakers and Gov. Robert Bentley (who's an MD no less) asking for help. Itamar has debilitating ulcerative colitis that could be healed by CBD. Although Alabama has made strides in Carly's Law which allows CBD access "exclusively ... for a debilitating epileptic condition." Itamar's condition is not epileptic and the law is very narrow. Itamar says: "People here are suffering and they suffer quietly. Who the hell are we not to tell the governor to save our children?" Who, indeed.
