Diana Adams

Diana Adams is a family law attorney and polyamory activist.

Diana Adams

Because of her own non-traditional upbringing, Adams has been an outspoken advocate for the American family in all its guises, especially those that involve unmarried or LGTB couples.  She is on the Advisory Council of the Woodhull Freedom Foundation, advocating for sexual freedom to be recognized as a human right, and is involved with the Alternatives to Marriage Project, advocating for the legal rights of people who are unmarried. Since 2009, she has spoken on these topics at venues including Yale Law School, New York Law School, the Manhattan LGBT Center, numerous national conferences on sexuality, Current TV, MTV, the View, and the Savage Love podcast, and her work has been noted in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Atlantic, and New York Magazine. Adams has received annual commendations for her pro bono work from the Brooklyn Bar VLP and New York State’s Empire Counsel.
